A 37-year old woman came in for stuttering that she has been suffering from consistently since age 4. 
 
Treatment dates were: 1/16/15, 1/19, 1/21, 1/23, 1/26, 1/28, 1/30, 2/2 and her 9th acupuncture treatment with me was on 2/4/15.  I use Dr. Tan's Balance Method Acupuncture.
 
On Treatment #9, the patient expressed that she was able to go to a drive-thru three times without stuttering. The day before her 9th treatment, she asked for a person by his name and she did not stutter before she said his name.  She did not have anxiety when she was on the phone the day before.  Also on the previous day, she felt "different and better" and that she has been feeling more confident about herself in general.  She doesn't remember the last time she has felt this confident.
